Celebrate MU’s Homecoming on Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand
on October 29, 2013.

Burbank, Calif., August 8, 2013 – This Fall, Disney•Pixar celebrates homecoming with the release of  “Monsters University” on Digital HD and Digital HD 3D on October 8, 2013, followed by the 4-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack3-Disc Collector's Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack,
3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and On-Demand on October 29, 2013.

After scaring up big laughs in theaters, the in-home release of “Monsters University” opens its doors to the movie in stunning high definition Blu-ray, and provides hours of all-new bonus material, in-depth behind the scenes features, deleted scenes, the animated theatrical short “The Blue Umbrella” and much more.  Directed by Dan Scanlon ("Cars," "Mater and the Ghostlight," "Tracy"), produced by Kori Rae ("Up," "The Incredibles," "Monsters, Inc."), and written by Dan Scanlon and Robert Baird & Dan Gerson (“Monsters, Inc.”), “Monsters University” marks Pixar’s 14th consecutive film to debut at number one at the box office.

Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike's plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, "Sulley" (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair's out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University's elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right. “Monsters University” bravely explores themes of self-discovery and the revelations that come with growing up.

Joining Crystal and Goodman as part of “Monsters University’s” monstrously talented voice cast are Steve Buscemi (voice of Randy Boggs), Helen Mirren (voice of Dean Hardscrabble), Alfred Molina (voice of Professor Knight), Charlie Day (voice of Art), Sean P. Hayes (voice of Terri Perry), Dave Foley (voice of Terry Perry), Nathan Fillion (voice of Johnny Worthington) and Aubrey Plaza (voice of Claire Wheeler). Featuring a score from recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and award-winning composer Randy Newman ("Monsters, Inc.," "Toy Story 3"), MU also includes music from Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia.

Monsters, Inc. (Five-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition : 3D Blu-ray / Blu-ray / DVD Combo + Digital Copy) Review

Synopsis: Experience the film that captured the hearts of critics and fans around the world in a breathtaking new way. MONSTERS, INC. is visually dazzling, action-packed and hilarious, raves the Boston Herald. And now, with eye-popping, crystal-clear visuals and theater-quality sound, it's even better on Disney Blu-ray Hi-Def! Lovable Sulley (John Goodman) and his wisecracking sidekick Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) are the top scare team at Monsters, Inc., the scream-processing factory in Monstropolis. When a little girl named Boo wanders into their world, it's the monsters who are scared silly, and it's up to Sulley and Mike to keep her out of sight and get her back home. Open the door to a fantastic world of fun and imagination that will have you screaming for more.  MONSTERS, INC., shattered every DVD-era home entertainment sales record when 11 million DVD/VHS copies of the film were sold during its first week of release. Only THE LION KING, released in the "pre-DVD" era, sold more units when it debuted on VHS in 1995.

Review: I can remember when Monsters Inc. came out in theaters...it was a year before my first child was born.  I had enjoyed Pixar films in the past..Toy Story 1 and 2, A Bug's Life..etc, but I wasn't prepared for not only the amazing graphic quality and the story of Monsters Inc.  This is without a doubt one of the best Pixar efforst and we cannot wait for the new Monsters University film this summer!  In honor of this film, we finally get a 3D Blu-ray release.  This great pack includes the 3D and 2D blu-ray, which is great for those that may not yet have a 3D player and TV, but want to make the investment towards the future of their film library.  Let me tell you, Monsters Inc. looks beyond awesome in 3D!  There's no ghosting whatsoever, everything is so fluid and really pops on the screen.  It makes for the best possible viewing experience!  This is the perfect film to share with your family!  We highly recommend!

Finding Nemo (Five-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition: Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD + Digital Copy) Review
Synopsis: Sea it like never before! For the first time ever, through the magic of Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D, fully immerse yourself in the stunning underwater world of Disney/Pixar's FINDING NEMO! From the creators of TOY STORY and MONSTERS, INC., this critically acclaimed and heartwarming tale splashes off the screen with brilliant digital picture, high definition sound and breathtaking interactive 3D bonus features that transport you beyond your imagination. In the depths of the Great Barrier Reef, Marlin (Albert Brooks), an overly protective clownfish, embarks on a daring rescue mission when his beloved son, Nemo, gets scooped up by a diver. With his unforgettable friend Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) by his side, Marlin encounters an ocean full of memorable comedic characters on his momentous journey to find Nemo. Bring home the humor and heartfelt emotion of the epic adventure that captured the Academy Award for "Best Animated Feature Film" (2003) -- now more awesome than ever on Disney Blu-ray 3D! It's Magic In A New Dimension!
Review: I'm a lifelong fan of animation.  I have grown with the cartoons as we were brought into a world of more serious storylines, ala Batman: the Animated Series in the 1990s, but nothing could prepare me for what Pixar was going to bring to Disney.   Their films are full of depth, well produced and authentic characters, as well as the exploration of very serious themes like life, death, abandonment, our place in the world, etc.  They really give their audiences, children and adults alike, respect through their real storytelling.  Finding Nemo was a film that I didn't intially think I would be interested in when it came out, until I saw the magic of Pixar bring the ocean to life.  I find it easy to forget that I'm watching an animated feature!  If any Pixar was just dying to have a 3D transfer it was this one!  The film is charming as ever and is really brought to life with the addition of 3D!  The movie is gorgeous in high-definition, which you can get in the standard 2D blu-ray that is included in the set.  This set gives fans a ton of special features, including interviews, artwork and in-depth looks at the making of the film.  This is the ultimate collector's pack for Nemo and we cannot recommend it enough.  Add this one to your library today!

For the full story click the title above!

Available To Own For The First Time On 5-Disc Blu-ray™ 3D Combo Pack “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” -- Debuts February 19, 2013

“Monsters, Inc.,” one of Disney•Pixar’s most beloved and visually imaginative feature films, arrives for the first time on Blu-ray 3D in the “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” 5-Disc Combo Pack on February 19, 2013.  In addition to hours of delightful bonus features, the “Monsters, Inc.” Blu-ray 3D “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” features a sneak peek at the upcoming all-new Disney•Pixar release “Monsters University.” The now-classic Academy Award®-winning animated comedy adventure “Monsters, Inc.” is set in Monstropolis, a thriving company town where monsters of all shapes and sizes reside. Lovable Sulley (voiced by John Goodman) and his wisecracking best friend Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal) are the top scare team at Monsters, Inc., the largest scream-processing factory. The main power source in the monster world is the collected screams of human children—and at Monsters, Inc., an elite team of scarers is responsible for gathering those precious natural resources.  Believed by monsters to be toxic, children are strictly forbidden from entering Monstropolis.  But when a little girl named Boo (voiced by Mary Gibbs) accidentally follows Sulley back into his world, he finds his career in jeopardy and his life in utter chaos. Assisted by Mike, the two pals plot to rectify the mistake and return Boo to her home.  When the trio encounters an unexpected series of complications, they become embroiled in a cover-up catapulting them into a mystery beyond their wildest dreams.  Directed by Oscar®-winner Pete Docter (“Up”) and produced by Oscar nominee Darla K. Anderson (“Toy Story 3”), “Monsters, Inc.” features a screenplay by Andrew Stanton and Daniel Gerson and music by Randy Newman.
